When His love and presence is all around me,
when the good and true Word is in the Bible 
Why do I continue to wrestle and reason with the concept of such a perfect God?
Something so perfect is too lovely for an imperfect world,
we pride, we’re bitter, we’ve been hurt

But Jesus says, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened,”
and He says that He will give you rest.
