Pulled my first all-nighter of the year (with Veronica Lee, weee)
When I first got the assignment to write about media portrayal of mental retardation in the movie, I was super excited and told myself that I’d leave ample time to research, write, edit, re-edit..the works. (haa!) Ended up doing all my research/outlining in the last two days and started writing 11 hours ago. The wee hours of the night fly by even faster than time during the day. After three 30-minute power naps and one major technical difficulty…I am officially free!
Minus stats homework due next week. Stats doesn’t want to be my friend for some reason.
..Back to my happier note, I’m (pretty much) free! Looking forward to sleep, sushi, swimming, church, bu vs. bc, and pretty soon..I’ll be home :)
EDIT. Biggest almost-fail. Somehow ended up back in bed while thinking about my shower. Paper was due at 9:30. Woke up to my dad’s text - “Guten Morgen.” (which is good morning in German..hahaha idk either) at 10am and ran to class with paper in hand. What a mess of a morning! Of course it was only an “almost-fail” because I got to hand it in by the end of class. phewf! Never again.
